Scots of the Year 2007
ICS has established the Scottish Academy of Merit as a celebration of significant individual achievement in modern Scotland. Each year, 12 distinguished men and women, Scottish-born or working in Scotland, are admitted as Fellows of the Scottish Academy of Merit and recognised as ICS's Scots of the Year. In each case, the award has been named in memory of a founder of ICS (or of its journal, the Scottish Review).
